Fabulous large vintage pine trunk, this would make a fantastic coffee table. It could also be used as a very useful underbed storage trunk. Very rare in this large size. The trunk features it’s original handles at each end and is nicely made featuring dovetailed joints as shown. In good all round condition with the normal marks and scars from its age and commercial usage. Please see all the pictures provided. There is a repair to the top on the underside as shown but this is invisible once the lid is shut. I estimate it to have been made in the early part of the last century. The approx dimensions are. In my opinion the signs of age and use are what give this trunk it’s character and appeal. The colour of the wood looks far better than the photos show, my photography skills do not do it justice! This is a lovely piece of furniture now cleaned, polished (with Briwax) and ready for years of further use whilst it increases in value as you enjoy it! Priced very fairly for it’s size and condition. This will be for collection, although you are welcome to arrange your own courier and I will be happy to assist at my end.
