Very large antique pine storage chest -‘mule chest’- with multitudinous uses. We found it fantastic for children’s dressing up clothes & accessories! Ne smaller internal storage box’candle box’ with hinged lid; One large drawer underneath. Carrying handles to sides; Pull handles to drawer; Escutcheon plates & locks – NO KEYS. Left hinge feels a bit wobbly & evidence of wood beginning to split so might need some attention – see photo. So I’ll go with the majority and assume it’s around that age. The hinges & carrying handles seem ancient but. In my completely un-qualified, layperson’s opinion. The drawer handles seem’younger’ than 200 years old. In any case, this is an extremely practical item! Length: 47″ / 119.5cm; Depth: 23.5″ / 59.5cm; Height (closed): 30.5 / 77.5cm.
