A really lovely large French Carved Solid Wood Chest Ottoman Storage Blanket Box Trunk Heavy Wood, in very good, used condition. A few minor dents to the wood, but this does not detract from it’s charm. It has a lift up lid, which is attached with hinges and a chain. The inside is clean and intact. This is a lovely piece of either solid pine, or oak – we are not sure. Very unusual and very expensive originally. Bought in France from new, approximately 10 years ago and has only been used for storing linen in since, which it did very well – keeping it fresh and lovely for years!
