Old pine Trunk/box which has been uniquely transformed by painting the base and applying dried pressed flowers from my garden some have been painted in near match colours to preserve. Bees and Butterflies all hand painted. The interior has 2 compartments in the top which are green felt all original. Also plenty of storage for magazines etc. The top has been stripped and waxed. I have another which I use as a coffee table, it’s a conversation piece and I’m doing more so please ask. The original lock with a key are inside but unfortunately it is not put on. The brass handles and key plate are reproduction. Age related marks and remember this is hand painted free style so not absolutely perfect which adds to it’s charm. A lovely wedding present maybe.
